Introduction
Dr Chellaboina adds rich experience to the team as a result of the various high-level positions he has held over the years. Prior to joining SRM in 2018, he was the Principal Scientist (2008-2014)and Head of the Risk and Finance Research Group at TCS Research. He also held faculty positions at the University of Missouri (1999-2004), the University of Tennessee (2004-2008), and at the Mahindra Ecole Centrale, Hyderabad, India (2014-2018).
Dr Chellaboina has taught courses in the dynamics and control areas to students at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels, with his recent undergraduate lectures, also including courses in Mathematics, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. At the moment, his research interests include quantitative finance, risk minimization, applied stochastic processes, and stochastic optimization with a broader interest in control systems theory and its applications.
He is a co-author of numerous articles as well as five books on the subjects of stability theory and control including the well-known title ‘Nonlinear Dynamical Systems and Control: A Lyapunov-Based Approach’. Till date, he has supervised seven masters theses and three doctoral dissertations.
